As some of you know, I own (as a daily driver) a 1994. ST...modded a car a lot, but since there are not enough holeless roads in HR, I decided not to go too low, or too hard with the suspension (finding a parking place is hard enough as it is
![]() Anyway, the suspension consists of Kayaba AGX (hardness) adjustable shocks, and APEX springs (which lowered the car approx. 2,5 centimeters (even though there was a promise of 3,5 cemtimeters written on the box). Since the complete suspension setup (shocks+springs) is just a few months old, changing the shocks is NOT an option...since the handling is really extraordinary, and the ride comfort is not completely ruined, but springs are something that Iīd gladly replace with Eibach or something... ...so...a million dollar question; Would a different set of springs solve the problem? While answering, keep in mind that I donīt want my Celica to drop exactly to the ground...I just need to drop a centimeter or two more than it has dropped with this setup... My Eibachs lowered the car about 1.5"s at first. Now the car has settled over 2 years it has lowered significantly more. Since you like the ride quality I suggest patience. Umm dude...sorry to say that Eibach's have a small rep of going limp after a while, being that your drop has increased after 2 years I would say that it's probably time for some new springs...not to mention the problems that could cause for you being that those springs are designed for a 1.5" drop. If you catch my drift (lower springs are going to try and keep the same distance between the coils of the spring, so with yours getting shorter the coils are getting closer together, which will make it easier for them to bottom out and hit each other, not a good feeling).
