FORGMANN ur mail box is full lol. ive been told ur the guy to ask when it comes to the speed source poly engine mounts.

Which ones do i get? the n/a mr2 one or the st165 one? and also ive hear some of the mount must be modified, whats if n e thing must be modified?

btw i have a st205 motor mated up to an s54 tranny.

im running the st205 front mount and the s54 tranny rear mount.

i looked under the car and lined up the tranny mount from the st205 tranny and it looks like it may be able to fit with the s54 tranny mount bracket....... the st205 tranny mount is about an inch and half to the left then the s54 tranny mount (the rubber circle part) however looking at the bracket on the tranny and the stock s54 mount it looks like i have about an inch and half of space where i could move it to the left.

heres a rough drawin of what it looks like.

can i jsut use the gt4 rear mount ive been told it wont line up with the s54 tranny braket however it looks like it will.

has anyone tried it?

well i put them on today.

turns out that the st165/185 motor mount set will bolt up no problem.

i am using an s54 tranny mount bracket and mount in the rear and in the front im using the st205 mount and braket.

the kit bolts up with no modification however i did grind down about 1 to 2 mm of the big insert for the rear mount to allow it to slide in a little easier.

I also modified the rear mount just to make it go in and out easier with out having the bottom part of the mount hit the braket thus allowing it to be taken off in the similar fashion as the front.
