so i know ive read things about this tranny but how do you really make it work with the front wheel drive celica, when you get it outta the mr2. what years of camrys, solaras, and mr2s had this transmission because i cant ever find one that works with it. there is a i believe like a 95 MR2 at the local junkyard, will the tranny and parts of the axles in that work for the swap.

yes, there is a sticky on the mr2 issue, lots of work, but if you have the skills, tools, time, and money, its kinda worth while in the long run... the main benefit you get is a limited slip differential...

ive heard that while the camry tranny WILL work, its not a very efficient solution because of longer gearing ratios if im not mistaken... if ur on a budget, and just want to get it done, from what has been experienced the gt tranny is highly effective, and pretty durable...
