So last night at like 2 something I was coming home from the Ferry after seeing my boyfriend. I saw on the traffic reader board that the normal bridge I take was having 30 min closures between 12 - 5am for routine checks before an upcoming storm so I was like "do i test my luck and hope that it wont be closed by the time I get to it or take another bridge across the water" so I decided to take another bridge. By the time I got over and and was almost home I came across another reader board that said an accident was blocking both lanes of the bridge I normally take. So i got on the news website this morning and come to find out while I was on my drive home a drunk driver had caused like a 4 car pile up. One lady had to be cut out of her car. Im so thankful for making the decision I made last night to take another way home cuz I didnt wanna sit in possible traffic.
