so my car came with the stock alarm but one for the numerous owners before me lost the remote or something. Do i need to get a part number on the remote for toyota and if so does anyone have it? or do i need to get one in some other way?

By my experience alarms (and thus remotes) are region specific and seeing as I am in Australia I won't be much use.
What I did find was the only way I could get remotes for my car was through Toyota, and they wanted $250AUD for two remotes and calibration... So i just replaced my whole alarm! It cost me a lot more ($500AUD), however I now have a much better alarm, a new warranty, and remote window lifters! -------------------- ![]() |
