So I had another 7afe dropped in after I threw a rod in the last one. Unfortunately, I have no idea how many miles were on this motor sooo...yea I have my doubts. What should I do to check on the shape of this motor? I'd like to build it up and turbo it. What things should I be looking for?

Not neccessarily so, my 7A-FE has 215 psi compression across the engine, and it burns oil like I own a oil well!! You need a leakdown test to help determine the health of the engine. I'm hoping stem seals will slow the consumption.
