Finally got the keys to the warehouse where I will be working on my car. I grabbed up the parts I've gained so far and took them out there, figured I'd snap a few pics while I was at it. This place is a lot bigger than I was expecting, I guess I've just never seen 4500 sq ft of plain open space before.
This is where I'll be working on it at, I wasn't parking it there to start tearing it apart just yet, I just wanted to get some measurements so I can setup a proper paint booth when the time comes. ![]() Just another shot. ![]() I'm getting excited, I can't wait to have her looking like the nubian goddess she should be ![]() This post has been edited by JonMarkos: Jan 18, 2007 - 7:53 AM -------------------- ![]() We shall show mercy, but we shall not ask for it. |

I started doing the bondo work tonight. I'm pretty much finished on the right front fender.
Before ![]() After ![]() That was one of the worst areas that was damaged, next up I'll be doing the passenger door and then the hood. I also finished up the left rear quarter panel. ![]() Btw, I used 80 grit sandpaper to rough up the areas of the body that I needed the bondo to grip too, then sanded it smooth with 180 grit sandpaper. It seems to be doing the job nicely but if anyone has pointers I'll gladly take them ![]() -------------------- ![]() We shall show mercy, but we shall not ask for it. |
