Im curious as to what all the comments people get on their car are. Most probably dont wanna start a thread just for a comment they got so heres a place you can write it down so we can see what people say about our celicas when were out and about.

Remark - worker from a business next door "wow that car sounds fast. How much horsepower are you pushing out"

Technician - (Technician glances at my car eyes wide open.) Is that a Supra?
Me - Nope
Technician - Damn. Looks really nice, just like a Supra! Is it a Toyota?
Me - Yep. A 6th Generation Celica.

Friend of co-worker (keep in mind he owns a supercharged Cobalt SS) - (Glances at my car all around) Damn... I like this. You plan on selling it?
Me - Hell no. That's my dream car. Gonna convert this baby to a JDM GT-FOUR.
Friend of co-worker - What's that?
Me - Go look it up and you'll fall in love. (Smirk on my face.)

Me - I was thinking about it but I heard it kills your car. And I plan on 3S swap'n it anways. That money might as well go towards the swap.

Dang - (Opens up the door and looks around the interior.) Toyota sure does uses good material. The inside looks almost similar to the MKIV Supras.
Me - Yeah, in a way.
Dang - Man, I want one of these now (Keep in mind he has a fast ass F22 Turbo Accord). What are the JDMs like?
Me - GT-FOUR? AWD 2.0L 260HP Turbo'd. If you want, I'll email you some pix and vidz.

Me - Sure. Just be careful man. I don't usually trust people but since you know how to drive, it's ok.
Dang - Don't worry bro. I gotcha. (Gets in car, and hauls ass around.)
Dang - (Comes back.) Dang, I love you exhaust sound. It sounds turbo charged but without the blow off valve. It's quicker than a Accord F22 suped up too.
Me - Yeah, I get that from people sometimes. I might as well throw in a blow off valve to make it sound turbo. (LoL) That way, it'll match the exhaust.
Dang - (LoL) That'll be hilarious. People will think you actually have a turbo.

Dude what did you do to your car to make a turbo honda feel jelous, a 5s even with bolt-ons prob wouldnt even be in the same league with a turbo accord.

Im very curious, why do you street race your celica? Cool props that these people go crazy, but you know some ricer ass people lol. "Putting a fake Bov" "It sounds turbo". Nonetheless, if the car makes you happy enjoy it, I just am curious about people who think their car is fast and putting parts that "look" fast on a car instead of actually making it fast.

It sounds turbo charged meaning that the exhaust sound output sounds like a turbo charged exhaust. You would have to hear it in real life to understand what I am talkin about. LoL. Seriously.

LoL. You got it ALL WRONG. He wasn't jealous. He was "AW'd" by the car. I guess he grew interested in it. In the enthusiast world I come from, it's not about who is the fastest and who is in what class or league. It's about props and respect for what customization is done to ones car. He was giving me props on my car. And oh yeah, he was comparing to a all motor F22.

Ok, I only said that just to make a laugh out of it becuz people keep saying my car sounds turbo'd. Just needs a Kuh! sound at the end of the exhaust sound. I didn't mean I really WAS going to do that. It'll be pointless and a waste of money. Does it look like I have a huge spoiler on my car? Or even carbon fiber everything? I don't think my car is fast. I only have exhaust and intake just becuz I expected better from stock (which was lame IMO). To be honest I don't street race anymore. I just stand by and watch. And even if I was to, no one would want to becuz the way my car looks. Sad but true. But my car is getting old (185k miles) and I'd rather not risk anymore money into replacement oem parts. I'm actually saving up for a BEAMs swap as of right now.

Oh yeah, funny you mentioned that becuz a year back I went into a Dodge dealership to look into a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS that the dealership claimed to be turbo charged. I loved it. Black on black. When I popped the hood to look inside, no intercooler, no turbo. I saw a blow off valve but it was welded onto a short ram intake. I asked the dealer, "Wait a minute. I thought you said this is turbo'd? I don't see any intercoolers nor the turbo charger?" The guy responded, "The turbo is this tube right here." And pointed at the short ram intake with a blow off valve. I said to myself, "You got to be joking right?" And then I said, "This car isn't turbo'd. Do you guys even know what turbo is? Just becuz you guys throw on a blow off valve to make it sound turbo doesn't mean it's turbo'd." The dealer guy looked stunned. And then I said, "You guys think you can get away with that? You are charging people $5000 ($12000) more than the supposed dealer price for a 2.5RS with 110,000 mileage." The dealer guy just stood there looking AND feeling stupid.
