Hey guys, I was trying to remove the shock cartridge from my front struts today, but, it's a b**** to take off the large nut that holds it in. Any ideas to help ease the nut removal. LEt me know, thanks.

QUOTE(GMoney @ Dec 25, 2006 - 7:11 PM) hey when i was takin my off wat i did was to ... slacken the nut while the shock was still braced down by the 3 nuts , but don't slacken the nut all the way cuz that was cause trouble lol . then take off the 3 nuts , then as u take off the shock ... the center nut will be easier to remove. Just be careful of this method, do not loosen the center bolt too much it will pop and shoot straight down and is either dangerous or your cv boots will tear. -------------------- 94 Celica GT
