I've been driving around with a funny noise in the engine for about a week now. I was too lazy to pop the hood and check it but I did today and turns out that my Tensioner Belt is loose. I was wondering if anyone could tell me any expected damages to the engine. I could fix this myself but I can't see any way to tighten it but I can't seem to get my hands through the even have a good grip on anything becuz the distance from the tensioner, belt, and firewall is about 2-3 inches.

Which belt are you referring to? The timing belt or the alt.? Power steering? If its the 7a-fe or 4a-fe you can tighten the timing belt tensioner hold down bolt through the cover. There is a rubber cap you can remove and use a 10mm socket to torque it.
