anybody try to mount speakers in the rear deck? (the plastic shelf over the cargo area in the hatchback)
if so, how did it work out? any rattling? pictures? |

I made an mdf shelf for my peugeot 306 when I had it, made a very slight modification to it and it fits perfectly in the celica. I have binned the speakers in the rear panels in favour of the speakers that i already had in this shelf.
And if you don't have a sub then personally I think ones in the shelf will sound better than ones in the rear panels as the sound can be reflected slightly off the rear screen towards the driver whereas the rear panel ones are firing sideways. Just my opinion, don't shout if you don't agree! |
