well im helping a buddy with his civic, he's swapping a k24 into his ek hatch, we got everything ready and it runs just about fine until we get it tuned. well the issue we are stuck on is there is something wrong with the clutch system. the clutch pedal has a lot of back pressure on it, and its only a simple clutch, so it shouldnt be that hard to depress the pedal. we've bled the damn system a helofalot of times so thats not the issue, also in the process of bleeding the system we've blown 2 master cylinders and 3 slave cylinders on it. we are stuck. plus when u press in the pedal, the slave cylinder doesnt have the full motion it should. i hope we dont have to drop the tranny again, cuz this thing has been a headache as it is, and we cant start my swap until we finish his, but we are thinking it has something to do with the pressure plate, any info guys? help me out...

stock clutch and stock pressure plate? isnt there a stock upgrade to the clutch hydraulics, swap the **** from a RSX or one of the little acuras. check around on some honda forums, i dont know the exact car or exact years.

it does sound like something went wrong, can you even drive it? are the gears able to engage? i'd venture a guess that the PP and clutch disk arent lined up right and something is binding badly. dont force things to work, you can make a simple problem worse.
