I have an imported JDM ST203 with four-wheel steering. Best car i've ever driven (and that includes Scooby STi IV, Lancer Evo VII and Supra Twin Turbo). Not a lot of power, but handling out of this world.
Only problem is, it's restricted to 180km/h... There are Speed Cut Defenders available, but I've heard that all that's required is cutting one wire on the management computer. If anyone has any info or links it would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to experiment and post pics and results for other drivers with the same annoying problem. |

QUOTE(jaycee @ Jan 8, 2007 - 4:32 PM) I have an imported JDM ST203 with four-wheel steering. Best car i've ever driven (and that includes Scooby STi IV, Lancer Evo VII and Supra Twin Turbo). Not a lot of power, but handling out of this world. Only problem is, it's restricted to 180km/h... I am willing to experiment and post pics and results for other drivers with the same annoying problem. I still suggest to use a Speed meter from Apexi, Pivot or whatever reliable Jap's brand. The meter could serve as a decoration for interior and could prove the TOP speed, IMO install it better than an unforeseen experiment. Here are some info. from a site: ![]() Apexi RSM Apexi RSM - speed/rev reading - battery voltage reading - time trial (0-400m) - lap time - monitor HP - G-force reading ![]() Apexi I-Moni Apexi I-Moni (I-Monitor) - rev monitor - water temp - intake temp - speed reading ![]() Pivot Speed Meter-X (SML-X) - speed display - time trial (0-100kph, 0-200kph, 0-400kph) - eliminate speed cut - applicable for Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Subaru, Nissan ![]() Pivot Speed Meter-Z (SML-Z) - High Precision Speed Meter with MAX400km/h. - Speed Limiter Remover Function (Not for use on public roads) - Auto Displays Top and Low Speed for Each Curve. - Real /Auto Display Switching Function. - High and Low Speed Display Hold Function. - Compact, Easy-to- View, Adjustable Neck Design in a Titanium Case. - Compatible with a Wide Range of Car Models. - Automatic Speed Increase/ Decrease Detection System (Patent Pending) - Displays Top and Low Speed for Each Curve. Our Speed Meter Z includes a revolutionary new function bringing you information never before attainable: the ability to check your top speed just before entering a curve and your lowest speed during cornering. As your speed drops to enter a curve, it will display for 5 seconds your top speed and as your speed increases out of the curve, it will display for 5 seconds your lowest speed while cornering. - applicable for Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Subaru, Nissan -------------------- |
