I removed my whole cluster today but i don't know hot to remove the needles ?
I don't won't to brake anything. Have someone here tried to remove the needles ? Need quick help ! |

the needle rest pegs/pins are very easy to remove...
once u have the needles off u can remove the dial face, turn the dial face over and look at the section behind the pin, u will see the pin is made of plastic and the back has been melted to keep it in place, just use a smalll craft knife to gently lever the melted plastic up basically unsticking it from behind the dial face, then u can simply cut away the melted part, once u have cut the excess away u should be able to push the pin towards the front of the dial and it will drop out, i would do this in bright room, preferably above a table so you dont loose the pin, once u have taken the pin out, u can push the same pin into your new dial face and secure it at the back with a dab of glue... hope this helps... and when u are done u might end up with a result like this... ![]() This post has been edited by P5ycho: Jan 9, 2007 - 3:08 PM |
