how do you install a 7gc shortshifter? Options

hey i was wondering how to install a 7gc short shifter i just recieved it in the mail today but it doesnt have anything instructions so i was wondeirng if you guys can help me out thanks

there should be a how-to and a write up with every thing u need on the forum some where...but if not, then remove the plastic around ur shifter, disconnect the cig lighter, there r 4 10mm bolts holding the shifter assembly down, remove them, there is a small c-clip holding the rod to shifter cabels, remove that pull the entire thing out, once out, u have to pop the old rod out, grease up the new one, then just re-install it. Thats what i remember from doing mine. Takes about 30 min - 1 hour.
