ok, i just bought an S-AFCII for my 94 ST, its a 5spd, i have a few questions for the initial setup part of installing this gadget. First of all, what kind of sensor does the 7afe have? they give me a choice of 4: Hot wire, Flap, Pressure or Karman. And also how many? one i am guessing, but then again this is why i seek the expert advice from you all. Thanks a lot in advance.

well im pretty sure it is, i think my dad and i are going to give it a shot initially but we then are going to take it to a dyno. If you have a previous dyno chart that has the appropriate A/F ratio and the stocheometric line at the bottom of the graph, you can tell at approx. which points the engine is either too lean or too rich, and use the AFC to correct that, now doing it just by looking at a sheet of paper and hpoing it works is not the best, and you wont get max power output, and also there is a good chance you run too lean and damage your engine, but i think it is possible to tune to a certain degree yourslef, not recommended. The best would be to have a dyno so you cna make a run after each change and see where it stands.
