I have a couple of questions for anyone that has done some moderate/extensive fiberglass work. Let me know in here if you can help or you can hit me up on yahoo/msn/aim if you'd prefer. Thanks in advance

QUOTE(playr158 @ Jan 12, 2007 - 10:49 PM) you could use Bondo that has short strand fiberglass in it to level out the piece most of the way and then lay some fiberglass over that if your having adhesion problems then drill a few SMALL holes so that the resin can "bite" in Thanks playr, that is basically what I decided to do. My dad was up in town this weekend so he took a look at it with me. Tonight I built up the bumper to it matches the level of the quarter panel. My dad is now going to come up either tuesday or wednesday and instead of fiberglass he is going to lay carbon fiber over it. We decided on the carbon fiber because he is worried that fiberglass will not be strong enough to resist cracking since the bumper can flex while the quarter panel can not. I'll let you know how it works out. -------------------- ![]() We shall show mercy, but we shall not ask for it. |
