 Hood/engine lining |

Does anyone know if there would be any serious problems if the lining on the inside of the hood were to be removed permenantly? Mine is getting pretty nasty and i'm very tempted to remove it, especially because i plan on getting the whole car repainted soon and it would stick out like a sore thumb when i pop the hood.

In the UK the ST doesn't have it and the GT does same as you guys are seeing.
I have removed mine and if my highly strung 3SGE doesn't affect the paint then you should be OK. The GT4 guys in the UK remove it as well with no problems. Al |

Al Well, mine has been off now for about a week and no immediate difference noticed. I'm sure that it would take some time to fade if in fact it does, so i'll keep an eye on it. But from everyone's input, i don't think I'll have to worry about it anytime soon. BTW Al, nice care and welcome to 6GC!
