how come whenever i got somewhere for parts like auto zone or like goodyear when they ask about my celi they only see st and gt i always say st heres another example on my profile thing when u choose your type of celica they dont have stx so once again i put st??? anybody else with an stx notice this or am i the only person on earth with an stx or is an stx an st

an STX is an ST, the X was a dealer option which meant you got all of the options (correct me if I'm wrong). Also, I believe Canada got the STX instead of the ST. Once again, some one correct me if I'm wrong smile.gif

I think in Canada, we only have GT-S...it's the only model ive seen here...

and again, GT-S means NOTHING except canadian version of GT (i have no option at all on mine...except power everything)

I have a 97 Canadian dealer brochure and is not showing an ST.
It is showing a GT or a GT-S package. The 97 Canadian GT
has less performance tires and no passenger airbag. The standard
GT didn't even have alloys.

I would assume the STX is just another clever way for toyota to
desguise an ST. I read somthing about them on here somewhere
I'll see if I can find it. There are a few members on 6gc that have them.
Fairly Rare.
