i know people talk about this all the time but i was just wondering if anybody changed the color of their clock from stock bright green to red. i kinda dont think its possible but if anybody has done it can you fill me in. (i read that some ppls stock color are white. lucky bums!)

Exactly.
Does anyone know if they make a red tic-tac container? I did the red clock mod a few years ago with some color samples from a paper company. They had various colors in the sample pack so I was able to mix and match about 5 sheets to get the exact red to match everything else in my car but even after cutting the green wire on the back of the clock it's a little hard to see on really sunny days. I think a red tic-tac container and just a few of the paper samples would work better. Also did the gauges, key-ring, lighter ring and dome [LED] in red. Looks like a submarine under attack in there.
