Hello fellow 6gcers. I'm planning to swap a 5s in my ST in the near future so obviously I need parts lol. What i'm looking are the following.
-5s engine harness/ECU (California M/T) -5s engine mounts -5s cradles -5s map and any other sensors required. I'm planning on rebuilding me a 5s I have here locally so I don't need the engine. As for transmission. I'm planning to either; A- Rebuild a 5s and install a taller 5th gear. B- Research if the 92-93 3vz-fe MT tranny will be a direct bolt on. or C- a E153. If anyone has any tips, feel free to post them. Since there's no good write up on this, I'll make a detailed one. thanks! --------------------  |

The reason why theres not a write up for the 5s into the 7a is bc it's not worth the hassle, like you said the wire harness, mounts, sensors, tranny, and anything else is basically what you would have to do for a 3s, so thats why everyone goes that route, not to bash nor dishearten what you are doing at all bc i thought about doing the same but then realized the hp gains were not worth it over what it would cost. (i kno u have a 5s to rebuild already) Now a 4age should be considered...same mounts.....and if i'm at all incorrect or sounding like an A** let me know cuz i don't mean to be. Good luck on whatever you choose to do P.S I don't have any spare parts
