Not a shame considering it was built for the purpose of breaking records. It did just what they intended for it to do. Not everyone can build a car that will go that fast in a 1/4 mile. If you ran your bike at the track, big deal.. all of those 600+cc bikes are crazy fast. But to take a car like that and run an 8 sec 1/4 mile, that's something.
