I just installed a FMIC and 2" piping with a turbo xs bypass valve. It is recirculated. Now Im hearing a loud whistle, sounds like the turbo spooling up. It only happens when boosting while in the petal. Is this normal? I just want to make sure nothing is wrong. Also my boost seems low. I was boosting 7-9 with the top mount intercooler. now Im boosting 6-6.5. Maybe I need to drive it to let the ecm relearn??????? Thanks for any input..

QUOTE(toyotacrazy @ Jan 23, 2007 - 10:15 AM) I still have a stock gt exhaust. With the dp convertor and gt convertor....source of problem?????? no. your problem is that you have a boost leak. make a tester and find the source of your leaks. its either because of your bov, an intercooler coupler or a vac line. its as simple as that. then, if you want to run more boost, get a cheap mbc. dont try to ghetto rig something, or you'll regret it later i had a very restrivtive exhaust on my car too at one point. it still boosted to the stock 10psi, just fine. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
