I have no idea how it works and i didnt get it installed. That previous owner did that. I can open and lock my doors with the remote but the alarm doesnt engage. I tested it by starting my car after arming it but the car started and alarm didnt go off. I even banged my car a few times to set it off.
Does my car alarm need to get its batteries changed Thanks for any advice |

Try opening a door and pressing arm - disarm - arm. That is the pattern to enter and exit valet mode with a DEI alarm. DEI makes Python's. The led on the dash should go from on solid to off and then it should flash when you close the door and arm the alarm. Hope this helps. |
