Actually, if it weren't for the Mustang, they'd be a really close tie with Ford.

Ford just posted a huge multi billion dollar loss, Toyota is still making plenty of cash in the auto market. Ford has the GT40 exotic, Toyota has nothing except the Supra which they haven't produced in over 10 years and wasn't exactly labeled a supercar. Maybe in terms of image you might be correct, but that's a pretty bold statement to equate Ford to Toyota. One is a failing dinosaur of an auto maker, the other is quality money maker. |
