hey guys its me again, i have an alarm question. when i baught my car they gave me an keychain alarm clicker. the one that i have has two buttons the red LED light then under that is a button and under that is anohter button. i know that the top button controls the alarm/disarm. also i konw that holding the top button sets off the panic alarm. but the bottom of the two buttons i dont have a clue what it does. i tired holding it the bottom one and nothing happens (just the red light shows up). does anyone have an idea what the other one does, if so thanks much.

it could be anything or nothing at all. it totally depends on what the installer hooked up on the receiving end of your alarm. since you have tried pressing it different ways with no reactions, then chances are it doesn't do anything. if you want, u can check your alarm box and see if there is an AUX wire that isnt connected to anything. hook it up to a multimeter and press your 2nd remote button. if the needle jumps then you have a winner. next you need to find out if it stays charged until you press the button a second time, or if it returns to zero. you can really do anything you want from hooking it up to a trunk release to turning on lights or radio or popping open a door.
