would i be able to install my new (to me i got it from 6celikas) a/c compressor? i dont know if i need to "recharge" it or if i need anything special. thanx in advance

The easiest way to do this would be to install it yourself and then take it to a shop to have it recharged. You have to have it recharged because as soon as you diconnect the first line the refrigerant will escape and your system will be empty. The legal way would be to just take it to a shop that can recover the refrigerant so that it doesn't cause environmental issues.
