Okay, so heres the problem. Today, my driver side window rolled down fine, then when I rolled it up, it stopped half way like it was getting stuck on something. Then i still can roll it down, but it sounds like crap, then I roll it up and gets stuck again. I did this a few times and now my passenger window doesn't work and my driver one is still acting funny. i took off my door panel, but really don't know whats going wrong.
please help me if you guys can.

Oh yeah, since i took my door panel off, i left it off, but can't open the door from the inside of the car. is this normal? I don't wanna put my door panel back on cuz i have to work on it tomorrow cuz i start work in like an hour.

Thanks
wyatt

i had the same problem, the power windows are cable driven, and if the cable gets frayed it will start to only go one way or sound bad like you mentioned. i wrote a walkthrough on replacing that part Here

your door should still work from the inside without the skin on. i know it sounds simple, but make sure its unlocked, might not think of that with the door being apart.

also, the passenger window controls pass through the driver side controls, so if you dont have the driver side controls connected the passenger side will not work like you mentioned.

hope it helps
