I gotta find my own place within the next month. I'm just wondering how much some of you living alone out there pay a month? I know depending on where you live the prices will vary but I still would like to know. I dunno how im going to get approved for my own place though, my credit is not so good right now *bleh*
I would get a room mate but I don't know anyone in my area needing a room mate, so thats not even an option! If my car payment & car insurance weren't so high I could afford a place w/ no problem. Should I even *think* about getting rid of my baby just to live in a crap hole of an apartment?? Ahhhhh no! I'd get a part time job on top of my full time job before I ever did that. -------------------- ![]() |

this REALLY depends on the area. You could pay $5000 a month in NYC for the same size place that you would pay $200 for in Bute, Montana.
When i rented, i paid around $600 a month for 700 sq ft, 1 bd room, 1 bath here in north Seattle. That doesnt mean squat unless you are looking for a place in north Seattle. Amy, you just need to shop around. Rent.com, craigslist, etc... Craigslist has a categorey for people looking for roommates. You could go that route if youd like. I considered that when i was in school. Make appointments, check them out, drive around areas you like and watch for signs that say 'renting' or 'vacancy' -------------------- Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it... |
