So I went into work today at 3:15pm. At about 3:25 this girl I work with comes up and asks me "Do you know any blonde women that drive a little white ford?" I'm like "Uhhh, no. Why?" Her reply, "Oh, well uhm, some lady who drove off in a little white ford just got your registration sticker off of your license plate."

I don't know about other states, but in colorado you have to have registration stickers on your rear license plate. One sticker on the bottom left side for the month, one on the bottom right for the year.

So I go out there for my lunch and it seems that she got away with just a little more than the sticker. I currently have a back license plate with a nice cute little 2x2 inch square cut off where the registration year was.

I called it in to the autorities as a vandalization/theft because the DMV won't do anything about it without a case report number.

What the **** is that? ****in cheapasses have expired registrations and don't wanna pay for new ones. Apparently this happened to another one of my co-workers about 4 months ago in the same parking lot. So everybody should put some kind of frame on their license plates, or at least cut the stickers so they can only come off in pieces once you get them on.

That happened to me last year - my celica was parked at work and when I came out someone had cut my plate to get the sticker.
What bummed me more than anything was that I actually had to go to the DMV to get a new plate - I hate going to the DMV.

Yeah, in colorado all the license plate stuff is done through the county clerk and recorders office. So you've got other people with their license plates going in there, AND you've got other people doing other things there. So the line is UBER long at all times.

In vermont our stickers have the license plate numbers on the stickers themselves....something other states should look into, but i agree thats a pretty cheap thing to do.

btw that place is off my parents car which was used for over 14 years.

First off, that plate is amazing for being 14 years old. As for your other comment, I found out that below the month on the month sticker and below the year on the year sticker is a extra small number that is unique to the number on the registration paper that you're supposed to keep in your car at all times. So if I see a blonde driven little white ford that has my number on it, jackpot for me!
