Are these worth getting? 145K on my Cel GT 95. Original Shocks+Springs. Already ordered the KYB GR-2 SHOCKS STRUTS for it. Mechanic said should get springs too and put in at same time. Looking to not spend much. Also, these adjust 0-4". What is good one to adjust too? Just looking for a smooth ride. Thanks. |

You need to have it aligned even if they are just changing the struts. When you change the struts you also remove and reinstall the springs so no difference. Don't cheap out on this. This is your safety and car we are talking about. If you have to wait a little longwer to get the extra $ from you're next paycheck.
BTW - If your springs/struts are that old chances are they are already bumpy. You may notice an improved or at worst not different ride quality with the quality parts you are putting on. My Eibach Sportlines did not feel bumpy over stock. I get compliments all the time on how smooth my car is "for a lowered car" LOL. Dropping your car will grow on you too. Soon you will be hating on your friends/gf's car cause it feels like a truck. ![]() -------------------- ![]() |
