 my insurance more than tripled!, WTF |

OK, so I get my 21st Century insurance bill yesterday, and my premium increased from $604 six months ago to $1,854 for the next six months. I had an accident eight months ago and I expected my rates to go up a little but come on! Other than that I have a clean record with no tickets or anything. Do you guys think this is at all reasonable? because IMO there is no justification for this much of an increase. I will be calling these ######## a little later today, hopefully I can get the price to come down. If not, then I think it will be time to find another insurance company. |

psh. if that's all you pay for insurance you shouldn't complain just be glad you don't live in toronto... my celica is under my dad's name and even he pays more than you with a perfect record...
on the other hand... i paid more than you as well when i had a 93 camry under my name with a perfect record (@ age 21) and er.. in toronto... premiums can go up as much as 5x for a young driver that got into an accident -------------------- |
