Apparently politicians think these 15yo RHD vehicles aren't safe so... they want to change the 15yo rule to 25... lol... i don't think a 25yo car is going to be much safer... 1982 car vs 1992?
I'd assume if BC implements that rule.. the rest of canada would too http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/...tml#skip300x250 -------------------- |

thats stupid. I heard through some websites and through my buddy that they were even thinkin of changing it from 15 to 5..theres tons of potitions out there to make it 5. The main reason they want it to be 15 is so that cars retail value is reduced so that used car losts wont be effected. Like take for example S13s. Here you go to a used car lot, u look for a good condition stock S13, u pay like $2500-$4K for one thats got like 250xxxkm on it. OR u can buy a slightly modified S13 with the motor u want in it for like $4-6K from japan with less than 47xxxkm on it. Even if they do pass that law or w/e about making it 25 years, there are still ways around it like buyin a car without a motor and buyin a motor seperately and puttin it back together as a "kit car".
