I find Mac to be extremely finicky sometimes. I've used both extensively, mainly using Mac G4/G5's for Music Recording running programs like ProTools, and PC for lesser things around the house, schoolwork, etc....When I used a G4 it used to freeze, crash, have clocking problems between the external and internal soundcards....CD mounting issues.....
That's why the "Why Mac's Suck" video had me rolling, its so true in many ways. ![]() I think that Mac is well suited for alot of things, however everytime I've ever thought that Mac might have an edge over PC's, I am quickly proven wrong by seeing a PC do the exact same task just as well, if not better. My brother is a professional designer/illustrator and uses Alienware computers and they're amazing. For the money you spend on a new Mac you could buy one of those that will easily hand most any Mac its own ass. Not to mention, PC's are so much of a well known science that its becoming a hot-rodding culture with huge potential. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
