I've been looking for a nice set of deep dish gunmetal or black rims w/ a polished lip and finally found some from tsw. Today i stopped by at our local tire shop and ordered a set of these tsw thruxton's in hyperblack. I wanted to get a lilttle bigger rims cos the lip is gonna take an inch away of the looks. So in the front 19x8" and in the back some 19x9,5" with a 225 and 235/35 tires and btw ET35. In the front with a 2 7/9" lip and in the back 3 1/2" lip. These rims do fit in my celica and we've tested it also. Tires are as high as the 225/40r18's that i already got so i wouldnt lose any acceleration. I know many of you would been taken the 18's but i've figured this thing out really long and made my decision to get my hands on some 19's. Here is also a pic of the rims so what do you guys think? Im getting the rims in 2 months and gonna give you some pics then.

i cant wait to see the car on the 9.5" wide rims. i, myself, am thinking about getting some rwd offset rims...i'm leaning towards some sportmax 962's though
the only thing is i'll have to get a 1"spacer with a 5x100 to 5x114 conversion for the rear rims. they dont make the lug pattern for 18x9.5 et35 in 5x100. only 5x114/120 universal i also plan on rolling/stretching the fenders so i could fit the 10.5" width that the rim and spacer will need |
