So...how did you run your wires for your gauge install? Im going to be installin my gauges soon (finaly). For the power wires im thinkin of tappin power off the cig lighter just because it only has power when the cars on. As for running the wires to under the hood, i was gonna use the grommet in the drivers side fender well.
Im gonna be runnin a set of Stewart Warner guages. I have a volt meter, oil pressure, and A/F ratio. I know how to install the oil pressure and volt. But for the A/F do i just splice the wire onto the o2 sensor wire??? Any help would be great. |

DONT SPLICE!!!!!!!...
ive ran wires thru my fire wall....if u look on teh right side of the engine bay...under the sign for emissions and drill a hole equipped with a grommet......worked good for me..... negative recommmends me on using a speaker wire..thin as possible.....and wire it togther with your 02 sensor harness......the reason using a thinner wire is to not interfere with the original connections.....try it on different sides of the harness and when u turn your car on...(when The guage is on) it should be on LEAN....hope this helps.... pm negative as he taught me how to do it......
