So...how did you run your wires for your gauge install? Im going to be installin my gauges soon (finaly). For the power wires im thinkin of tappin power off the cig lighter just because it only has power when the cars on. As for running the wires to under the hood, i was gonna use the grommet in the drivers side fender well.
Im gonna be runnin a set of Stewart Warner guages. I have a volt meter, oil pressure, and A/F ratio. I know how to install the oil pressure and volt. But for the A/F do i just splice the wire onto the o2 sensor wire??? Any help would be great. |

i tapped into it by the harness in the cabin, less wire to run in my mind, someone on here could correct me, buuuuut wire length would also be shorter - aka 6ft of wire from engine to inside + 2ft of wire to go to ur gauge = 8ft of wire
compared to 6ft of wire to go from engine bay to inside to ecu + 8ft of wire to go from engine bay to gauge = 14ft of wire hope that helps/makes sense, less of a run = less resistance = more accurate signal, not liek the extra bit really matters i guess -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!
