Is it just me or does anyone find it hard to find someone to help out the the old Celica GT. All the people I know that know anything about cars are ones with hondas. Anything that they might have to say has nothing to do with my car. This goes for all catagories. It's amazing how all these people who have never owned a Celica seem to know all about the car that I own and never fail to inform me of how much of a piece-of-**** it is. Give me some feedback people. I need someone to back me up.

just remember this trueism,,, Speed costs Money, how fast can You afford to go?
This has been a true statement as long as I can remember, (and as far as I know, someone else always has more money.) I think it was criminal Toyota didn't bring the 3s-gte 6th gen Celica into this country. thus forcing us to spend so much extra to get the performance other countries got in stock trim on certain models. That decision alone is probably why we see so many modified Hondas instead of Toyotas. As far as help with our cars, they already have a lot more going for them than a stock Honda, Civics and Accords are merely Coupe versions of 4-door econoboxes and mid-size sedans. The Prelude was meant to compete with the Celica as they both are 2-door sport coupes and have no 4-door version. and everywhere but here, it was pretty stiff competition. Back to the point, Celicas can be improved, it just takes money and effort and time, not every corner store has the parts on display, but they are out there, keep looking. |
