I am probably a couple days away from buying a small setup, 26 gallon glass bow. Still working on the equipment but are there any freshwater peoples out there? If so whats your setup like & what equipment are you using?

QUOTE(Bigwaaagh @ Mar 2, 2007 - 6:59 AM) My little fishbowl is sized 32" by 14", and is 16" high. Don't know the gallons, I'm used to the metric system. It has your average filtering system, and a heater with a thermostat. It's half filled, and a third of the surface is rock above waterlevel. Any higher and my 7" red eared sliders (that are the turtles with red cheeks) would escape ![]() I've got 2 turtles in that enclosure, one male and one female. No, they don't reproduce in such a confined space. The female did lay an egg last weekend, which is something that doesn't usually happen with turtles kept as pets. My g/fs turtle layed about 6 eggs, but they were all unfertilized. -------------------- |
