First the car has a 2000GT badge and the 4age is a 1600 but the 18RG is a 2000. Also in Japan the 18RG was an option in the celica. Then take a look at the valve cover. Although it looks like a standard 16V 4age it isn't. The standard 16V 4age valve cover only covers one cam and thus there are two of them. This valve cover is one piece. There are a few other details about the motor that tell you it is an 18RG as well. Most of those only people that know the 18RG very well can tell you. wow, coolio always interesting to learn about older gens.....
