 oil in spark plug hole, no I didn't spill it there |

In about 2 of my four hole I got alot of oil in them, I looked at my exploded engine view in my Haynes, and it looks like the only place it could come from is from the grommets on the top of the holes (that holds the cover).
But it doesnt seem like that much oil could come from there... Is it possible it comes from inside the tubes itself? I supposed those spark plug tubes are screwed in the head eh? Anyone fixed this problems? --------------------  -Rémy 02 SiR, 08 250R |

One way to get oil in there is when you are putting oil and it spills over to those covers when you don't use a funnel to your filler hole. Then again, I wouldn't know if you or anyone actually did that. But thats 1 way.
