In about 2 of my four hole I got alot of oil in them, I looked at my exploded engine view in my Haynes, and it looks like the only place it could come from is from the grommets on the top of the holes (that holds the cover).
But it doesnt seem like that much oil could come from there... Is it possible it comes from inside the tubes itself? I supposed those spark plug tubes are screwed in the head eh? Anyone fixed this problems? -------------------- ![]() -Rémy 02 SiR, 08 250R |

Or it could also be caused from somebody else doing a compression test on your engine.
Sometimes mechanics will use a tiny bit of oil dripped through the spark plug galley to see if it improves the compression at all.....a pretty common procedure. If theres no likelyhood of that, then I think the other suggestions noted above are more likely. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
