tell me if i am wrong
3sgte is quicker than beams but slower that the 5sgte. the 5sgte is also only available by doing some custom work right? also with the 3sgte you don't want to use the same one as the mr2, it's different? i am totally a rookie when it comes to this stuff

Come on, man. You've got to search a little. No one does a 5sgte, because it's way too impractical. No one does the Beams because it's expensive and undocumented. Everyone does 3sgte because there is tones of info, parts are easy to get, the motors are everywere, and it's turboed with lots of potential. If you don't know what kind of motor you like, you don't have much business asking about the options. A better question you should ask is, "I want a car that..bla bla bla, and bla bla bla. I have X amount of money. What's the best option for me?" It's all about your goals.

i am pretty sure i am going to get the 3sgte but i just thought that i would ask. i had never even heard of the beams until i got onto this forum. wanted to know is all. i would hate to get a motor for my car and not know anything about it. this is the first site that i have been able to find any info about my car after owning a 6gc for a year. don't jump down my throat i just wanted to know others opinions and make sure my facts were straight before i went out and spent a ton of money on a new motor
