Will an intake from a corolla with a 7afe(93-97) work for those of us with an ST.

What Pete said is correct. I've seen dyno results of a Celica GT with a drop in K&N filter and the same car with a short ram intake, and it produced more power with just the filter.
 As soon as I get my new engine in, one of the first things I'm going to do is fabricate a cold air intake for it. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
