There's an auction I need to win tonight but I really don't want to stay up 'til 2:00am to do it (this early time change is already killing me.)

That way there are no people who slowly test and push you to your max bid price. When you bid big intially. You provoke other bidders to bid higher, They think they can just bid a little more and get the item. So 10 dollars here and 10 dollars there and BAM you lose your auctoin because someone slowly bid there way past your max price by a couple cents. |
