First nice day in a few months, I'm on my way to work, in bumper to bumper traffic (no speeding) cop slowly comes across 3 lanes of traffic, and pulls me over.
Officer: Licsence and registration me: ::hands over licsence and reg.:: officer: know why I pulled you over? me: no idea officer. officer: can you roll up your window a bit? me: sure...::roll window a quarter of the way up:: officer: ::puts funny contraption on window:: can u see that read out? me: yes. officer: your tints are 14.4%, the legal limit is 70% Here is the ticket: ![]() I recieved a ticket for window tints.....nothing else...... cops in my town i guess have nothing better to do but pull me over for dark windows...lol so let, Open Ticket Season begin. -------------------- ![]() Kawi Love |

NY Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 6 inches of the windshield. Front Side Windows Must allow more than 70% of light in. Back Side Windows Must allow more than 70% of light in. Rear Window Any darkness can be used. NJ is worse Windshield No tint is allowed on the windshield. Front Side Windows No tint can be applied legally to this window. Back Side Windows Any darkness can be used. Rear Window Any darkness can be used. |
