I found some serious rust points under my old spoiler while i removed it and it has to be fixed some way. wink.gif So im going to order vis cf hatch but i have few questions for you guys before making my decision. First of all can i put my old rear window on it? And i think its same high quality vis stuff as the hoods they make? So it does fit perfectly? And what is the price at vis? Pretty same as the hood? Once again big thanks for you all 6gers for helping me out.

How much wieght can you save with a CF hatch? I'd like to know this along with wieght saved on a CF hood, and fiberglass fenders.

My CF hood is only a little lighter than a stock hood - I guess 5-10 lbs but every little helps. Rear seats save a surprising amount of weight if you take them out and so does the spare even if it is a space saver biggrin.gif

lol u kno what its really funny how every1 thinks removing ur back seats are gonna take away a decent amount of weight from the car...WRONG. seats actually dont way much at all. And take seats out of the car and not installing a role cage can make ur car weekend. Seats actuallly work as a sapport believe it or not. Their is really no point in taking back seats out.

I don't see how the back seats in a celica can act as a support as there is no frame (well, not on my JDM 6 anyway) - just some foam with a material covering. The seats weigh more than you think when you actually weight them especially if you include all the brackets and extra gubbins. I took mine out when I fitted my harnesses because I needed to use the rear seatbelt securing points and I need the space for something else wink.gif
