I just want everyone to know that I'm a graduating Psychology major (BS) with a good deal of experience for my age, and I want to make myself available to those who need me. I know it's embarrassing to admit that there could be something wrong or to even ask questions sometimes, but believe me I know the stats on it and I know the huge amount of people that suffer from these issues. Feel free to post here or pm me any questions you have. Remember, I am giving my educated opinion. It may always be correct, but it's the best I can do.

If this is a success, I may start my own forum just for this.

Everyones got issues, talking to a psychologist or the like has become the norm. Thought that needed to be said.

That's what I thought too, but there are still a lot of people who aren't as comfortable. It all depends on the person, were they were raised, and how they were raised. Believe it or not, my fiancé refuses to see a consoler. She now thinks its okay, but just not for her. When she and I first met, she thought it was only for "crazy" people. There is no shame in being reluctant to talk to someone.
