I have a 1997 celica, that has the stock radio. Sometimes the front speakers dont work sometimes thy do. Is this an amp problem or a radio problem. Is the posibility that i need to replace the amp. Its a very rare form that is no being sold on ebay. I want to also exchange the radio to a 6 disc OEM toyota. What year reange can i look for, and what can i do to check the amp. Is this a normal problem. I wish to keep my car Stock, dont want aftermarket. Thanks in advance,

Could be a short in the harness, could be a problem with the amp or the stereo.
Its hard to tell... Take our thedash and play the radio. Try shaking or wiggling around the stereo to see if it makes a difference... Other than that... you would have to try several things to troubleshoot, and since the problem is not constant, it will be a little difficult to pin point.

I actually have a stock OEM toyota 6 disc changer that I just took out of my 99 Convertible GT.
I have the premium sound system with amp and 8 speakers, so it should just plug right in to your harness.

Make me a reasonable offer and its yours.
