I have a 1997 celica, that has the stock radio. Sometimes the front speakers dont work sometimes thy do. Is this an amp problem or a radio problem. Is the posibility that i need to replace the amp. Its a very rare form that is no being sold on ebay. I want to also exchange the radio to a 6 disc OEM toyota. What year reange can i look for, and what can i do to check the amp. Is this a normal problem. I wish to keep my car Stock, dont want aftermarket. Thanks in advance,

Take our thedash and play the radio. Try shaking or wiggling around the stereo to see if it makes a difference... Other than that... you would have to try several things to troubleshoot, and since the problem is not constant, it will be a little difficult to pin point. I actually have a stock OEM toyota 6 disc changer that I just took out of my 99 Convertible GT. I have the premium sound system with amp and 8 speakers, so it should just plug right in to your harness. Make me a reasonable offer and its yours. -------------------- -M-
