 Engine swap, Have the 3S-GE want the GTE |

Hey guys I've got a JDM with the 3S-GE and I want to go with the GTE from a '94-'98 GT-Four with 251hp. Does this make sense? and Where can I get Just the engine? cause I'll get screwed importing more than that here in Barbados. Duties will screw your budget. Help!!!!

Thanks. I'd be able to post more info on this swap if I can just get time to drop the motor off at the machine shop. I've had the stipped down block in my basement for about a month now. I'll second Jarco - best import place Ive dealt with, clean well organized shop and freindly people. Call them though, as they dont check e-mail as often enough. I was going to order a 205 clip from ToySport, but they were way too expensive. madlion586 - if you do swap the engine, I may know someone who would be willing to buy your stock motor off you. It wouldn't go for much compared to the cost of a 205 engine (I bought my 202 partial clip for $1200 and a 205 partial clip for $4300) but it would at least be something. -------------------- Scott
